1. Google API Limited Use Disclosure AutoDoc Merge’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2. Google User Data We Access and How We Use It AutoDoc Merge accesses the following Google user data strictly to perform user-initiated document generation and email automation:
Google Sheets™ Data: Read cell headers and row values to populate document templates, and write back PDF file links and merge statuses.
Google Docs™ & Drive™ Files: Read your chosen Google Doc template, create a merged copy, convert it to PDF, and save it in your Google Drive.
Gmail™: Send emails containing merged text and PDF attachments to the recipient email addresses listed in your sheet.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, analytics, AI/ML model training, or any third-party sharing.
3. Data Protection Mechanisms for Sensitive Data
Zero External Transmission or Storage: AutoDoc Merge runs 100% inside Google’s native Apps Script runtime environment. We do not own, operate, or transmit data to any external servers, third-party APIs, or external databases. Your spreadsheet data, documents, and emails remain strictly within your own Google Workspace account.
Encryption in Transit and at Rest: All communication between AutoDoc Merge and Google APIs occurs strictly over Google’s internal infrastructure and HTTPS/TLS 1.3 encrypted channels. All files and document properties rest inside your Google Drive and Google Sheets, protected by Google Cloud’s native encryption.
Strict Access Controls: Access to your data is scoped strictly to your authenticated session via OAuth 2.0 tokens. The developer of AutoDoc Merge cannot view, access, or read your spreadsheets, documents, or emails.
4. Data Retention and Deletion of Google User Data
Data Retention Policy: AutoDoc Merge does not collect, copy, or retain any Google user data on external servers. Template selections and column mapping configurations are stored locally inside your individual spreadsheet’s PropertiesService container only for as long as that spreadsheet exists in your Google Drive.
How to Delete Your Data & Revoke Access: Because all data and generated files reside solely within your own Google account, you have full, immediate control over data deletion:
Delete Files & Configurations: Delete any generated PDFs or spreadsheets directly from your Google Drive trash, or click Start Over inside the AutoDoc Merge sidebar to clear saved document properties.
Uninstall & Revoke OAuth Access: You can uninstall the add-on at any time via Google Workspace Marketplace or revoke OAuth permissions directly at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately terminates all active form triggers and permissions.
Contact for Deletion Assistance: For any privacy inquiries or assistance with data deletion, contact autodocmerge@gmail.com. Requests are processed within 48 hours.
